How To Take A Screenshot On A Mac Computer

Have you ever wanted to take a screenshot of your entire Mac desktop or just a specific item on it, but didn't know how? Well, look no further, as I have the simple tutorial on how to do this below, enjoy!

The Tutorial:

Screenshot of your entire screen:

1. Press Command-Shift-3
2. Locate the .png file of the screenshot on your desktop.

Screenshot of part of your screen:

1. Press Command-Shift-4, your mouse arrow changes to a set of crosshairs.
2. Place the crosshairs at the edge of where you want to start the screenshot, then click and drag across the entire area of what you'd like to capture.
3. Release the click of your mouse button to take a screenshot of the area you selected.
4. Locate the .png file of the screenshot on your desktop.
